Homegrown in Monroe, GA, we decided to launch House Rules as a way to disrupt the HVAC industry. We wanted to do something different, and here we are.
We’re not here to upsell. We’re here to cool your house and your nerves. No boring sales tactics, no padded prices—just HVAC done honestly, with a little fun on the side. We’re not like the other guys, we actually enjoy what we do.

My Story

HVAC stresses people out. Honestly, it used to stress me out too. Between the confusing quotes, the inconsistent work, and the pressure to upsell, it never felt like it was about helping people—it felt like a hustle.
I started out in small appliance refrigeration. It was honest work: fix what’s broken, charge a fair price, and treat people right. That stuck with me. And the more I worked, the more I realized I wanted to bring that same straightforward service to the world of residential and commercial HVAC.
I kept thinking about people like my grandmother—folks who just need someone they can trust. That’s what pushed me to start House Rules. I wanted to build a company that makes HVAC simpler, more affordable, and maybe even a little fun.
Here, we do things differently. No pressure. No padded pricing. Just real people helping you stay cool without getting burned.
